Due to the impact of Hurricane Helene, the Chimney Rock attraction at Chimney Rock State Park is closed until further notice. No public access is permitted during this closure. The safety and well-being of our community, staff, and visitors remain our top priority as we focus on recovery and rebuilding efforts in the park and surrounding areas.

While the park is closed, our staff remains engaged in community clean-up efforts and continues to support local schools and organizations through ongoing educational outreach programs.

Our heartfelt thanks goes out to our amazing guests for your understanding and support during this difficult time. While we are saddened to temporarily close our gates, we look forward to the day we will be able to reopen and welcome you back to our beautiful park.
